At Calvary Christian Preschool & Daycare, we use experience-based learning to facilitate discovery, nurture social and emotional growth, and let children know we respect and value their ideas and efforts.
We strive to create an environment filled with love, security, acceptance, guidance, and sensitivity to each child’s intellectual, emotional, physical, and social needs. We work with each family to learn more about your child and how we can best meet his or her individual needs.

OUR HISTORY
Our faithful beginnings...
In August of 2009, Calvary Community Church held its first service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. By October of 2009, we opened the doors for Calvary Christian Preschool & Daycare!
Since then we have seen The Lord's hand at work in amazing ways as He has faithfully grown the preschool & daycare program. In 2024, we launched an elementary and middle school—Calvary Christian Academy—to continue to provide Christian education to the children of Cedar Rapids.
If your child is enrolled in our preschool, they are automatically considered for enrollment in Calvary Christian Academy.
